![]() The NCEL Bylaws provide for that any group that has as its primary purpose the development, promotion and governance of a series of competitive round robin meets for the benefit of equestrians may become an affiliate of NCEL. NCEL's affiliates are the National Capital Adult Equestrian League (NCAEL) and National Capital Short Stirrup Equitation League (NCSSEL). Click on the logos on the left to learn more about these affiliate leagues and see meet results. The National Capital Adult Equestrian League (NCAEL) provides an opportunity for adult riders to be a viable part of a team, promote the art of equitation, foster competition and camaraderie, as well as encourage social functions centered around equestrian activities. Good sportsmanship and a no stress competition atmosphere will be emphasized. The National Short Stirrup Equestrian League (NCSSEL) provides an opportunity for novice junior riders to be a viable part of a team, promote the art of equitation, and foster competition and camaraderie,, with an emphasis on good sportsmanship. |
